Yes that is a great service! YOu can become a memeber and recieve more benefits including legal advice. To me this is an issue every one whom considers themselves as a creative individual should be aware of. Artists rights! We need to be recognized by our culture for who we are and what we contribute. Artserve seems a work in progess which could lead the way to artist empowerment.
Other websites that include call for artists and exhibition opportunities:
http://www.mnartists.org has a good website for artist opps. Look under Resources-opportunities and deadlines for listings Also http://www.nyfa.org has a good "opportunities for artist"s site and http://www.collegeart.org has "exhibition opportunities"

InkHandMoonEye is a place to dialgoue and share art and ideas, as well as to promote one's work. The goal of IHME is to build a virtual community founded on respect and constructive criticism so that we may cultivate our perception and creations in a process of aspiring renewal. The purpose of the site is to act as a venue for artists and thinkers so that we may network, and connect with others in collaboration and fellowship. Here, select artists will be able to be published in our journal and displayed on our gallery. The journal is designed to promote works of excellence that align with the IHME vision (check out the manifesto posted on this discussion board). Lastly, artists will be able to display their art for showing and selling in our Online Gallery which will aid in the sustainability of the artists as well as the InkHandMoonEye community.
