Astronaut Collective

 Detroit artist Cooper Holoweski has a great idea! The project he created is called the "Astronaut Collective" and "liftoff was last evening! Ok, so you are confused, right? Well, this is how it worked - Holoweski contacted a large group of artists/writers a couple weeks ago about the project and posted that the project would take place from 11-12pm thurs night. Artists received the "theme" by email at 11pm and then had one hour to email images/video/word to Holoweski to gather for "Astronaut". Artists had one hour and one hour only to produce a piece of art that related to the given theme: THE FOREST.

I can't stress what a great idea - it is like being in a virtual reality class where artists are given an assignment and then get to review all the works afterward. I hope that this can be a reoccurring project or that others could do the same sort of thing between artist friends.
