Johanson Charles Gallery

This was my first time at the Johanson Gallery for the show called "Phenomena" Art, Science, Nature. It is a great open, industrial raw space that I hope has some more great shows in line. The gallery itself reminded me a bit of Tangent. This would be amazing for some large installation work! The gallery as far as I know doesn't have a website and I am not sure how the shows come together. If anyone has any info on the selection process for artists and if they are accepting any proposals, please comment below :)

I realize that this comment is probably banal but thanks for posting. Your website is a fantastic resource for those of us who can't get our asses out as often as we should.

Mosaic Productions did not work with MONA, but Jeanne Moore and Billy Hunter who run Mosaic were an integral part of MONA when it was located in the Book Building a couple years back. They now have there own exhibition planning group and exhibit artists from the Detroit area. If you're an artist and interested in doing a show, send them your slides or email them: mosaicproduction@hotmail.com.
