Kristin Beaver, Detroit painter 2004 Wayne graduate, 26 yrs old
Bernhardt's paintings are much more painterly yet still have the same feel and attitude in the subjects as Beaver's edgy paintings.
Beaver - this painting has some of the same eye make-up as the one above it but the application is much more steady!
and...what else to the ladies have in common? Cat portraits! The one above is Bernhardt's cat Mookey and below Beaver's cat.

where is beaver from? why are they using such old paintings of bernhardt?
