now now, granted that pizza in detroit is a more profitable gig. I'm a little disapointed DAM doesnt hold this type of event here in the city with one of the many food vendors. Fishbones, hockeytown cafe, or something in the city where after a nice dinner, one could visit the gallery and purchase some art. Also, this event comes in between gallery shows. Even if they wanted to visit the gallery after dinner, there wouldnt be anything on the walls. Someone at DAM could use a marketing course.

Does anyone know what is the financial status of the Detroit Artists Market? I get a funny feeling about it...we cant afford to lose this institution

Whether they drop the art and concentrate on selling pies or not, DAM should move to Somerset.
