The DAM opening was pretty good. I always enjoy their openings. Some of the art was just kind of mediocre though. Rick Vian had a couple pieces that were quite different from his normal landscapes. Thomas Humes, whos work I love and wish I could afford, was in the show, so I was excited about that.
Great shows at DAM and Gallery Project enough to rival NY city any day! Glad you pointed out Rick's pieces, I was wondering about those as well. I had noticed they said 2004. Rick are you out there? Whats the story with those works?
