U-M creates an issue of art's proper place

Looks like some feminists have their panties in a bunch! U-M has moved a bronze wall sculpture to a more discrete location without any announcement. Some students believe the piece is offensive to woman. In the sculpture "Fredericks showed the young man as seemingly daring, dreaming of a schooner crashing through a stormy sea. The young girl, by contrast, is depicted as a pioneer mother reaching for the hand of a strong man." I don't see why this one piece is creating such a stir? Haven't woman been depicted this way for hundreds of years - but I am not saying it is right though!
