Summer Solstice Saturday June 18

Put on your party clothes and dancin' shoes because the BBAC is hosting Summer Solstice: a party celebrating the art of fine wine, art, jazz, and gourmet food!  If you complain there is nothing to do in this city then this fancy event is for you.  Did I also mention that silent auction and 3 art galleries with exhibits?  Some artists include: Lynn Galbreath, Julio Pallone, Laura Host, and Clint Snider.  There is also student work displayed.  The walls are full of art and I am sure that Saturday the event will be packed! The preview party starts at 6:30pm with its patrons and then opens up to ticket holders at 8:30pm.  Tickets are $75 per person and $85 at the door.  If you can't splurge for the main event you can catch the afterglow party at Forte' in Birmingham (201 S. Old Woodward).

Side view of Clint Snider's painting. The nature of the construction of painting is quite captivating.  He allows for the paintings to almost levitate off the wall.
