festival of arts

Ask me what the highlight of the art festival was and I would say the food!  I think I am always disappointed when I go to "art" festivals because I forget that it is not...umm...how do I put this....not real art??  OK, it is hand crafted art....but I have a hard time looking into booths of black and white photography, rainbow landscapes, swirly ceramics, and beads galore.  I think I just get sad because I think that for a percentage of the people who attend art fairs don't know about real art.  That may be a harsh statement...but think about the characters who browse around art fairs?

The Historic Museum was also open for free!  This is a place to check out. A model assembly line dropped a car body onto the frame.

The Historic Museum also had huge display of a model train.
