It looks great, Ann! Forgive me for not coming there in person....I had a domestic emergency at my house [flooding basement!]

Those dimensional pieces are VERY intriguing!

i think the fabric has potential, but isn't where it could be.. i do enjoy the idea of bringing sculptural elements into your work but am not sure if the compositions are working. i also don't think the idea of the animals are coming through as strongly as they are in the paintings. keep going with it though, as i'm sure it will take you to new places with all of your work!

hi annabell.

missed the show of course. so i shouldn't talk about it as such. but on my last studio visit I was taken by the gorgeous drawing!!! I was so glad to see lines again and 2d marks of ALL KINDS!!! feeling that things were in an uncomfy transition between cars horses and pure color though....? I really like the rabbit sex and am mad you wouldn't trade me. I'll get over it though.

I like how you push and push. but i think all the august shows you have are like 6 months too early? how do you feel? i wanted the work to just shoot me in the face and it's kind of only a slap right now.

and I didn't like the fabric (yet). I think it could develope into some of your best work but it needed time and anger to work things out.....

love always
