not to discount the rest of what he said, but the last thing andrew says in the interview is the best advice for all of us.
its sort of an ironic statement though especially when viewing andrew's works? unless he actually killed someone and pulled their guts out for all to see.
sorry i have to stop commenting, just looking.
AG: "You have to forgive yourself everyday. You have to hide your past, leave it behind you, and everything must move, forward."
Wouldn't "hiding your past" imply that you hadn't left it behind you, nor forgiven yourself? I mean, look closely at that line... it reads like a parody.
Not such great advice upon closer examination.

you're right m., when you look at it your way it's not such great advice.
What's he hiding again?
If this painting wasn't over 4ft square then it would be highly forgettable yes? True of so many works.
Yeah--
"hide" was a bad word to use....the interview was conducted over the phone and I am not the most articulate speaker. Maybe I should have said don't dwell on past events. I still maintain that you should forgive yourself everday. Thanks for posting the painting.
