Thanks!
Yesterday at work, a couple came into the gallery to look at a detroit artist's work. It turns out the couple are supporters and avid readers of this blog. The woman told me that because of pictures she saw on kristin beaver's show at meadow brook, they went out and purchased a piece of beaver's work! How cool is that! When things like that happen I get really excited because I feel that on some level the blog is making a difference! Thanks to all of you that read and follow detroit arts!

Ann we all really appreciate what you do with this blog. I know that you are a visual artist too but as a writer you will make more of a difference in Detroit than any single visual artist ever could...sorry!!!
Tyree has been blending art and life for soul purpose quite sometime now. Too bad this society does not allow the full affect to blossom and spread.
Ann you did not mention how excited the couple were when they discovered that it was actually you - the infamous blogger.
THANKS ANN!!! I owe you one,
best to you,
-beaver
Ann, you may not remember this, but when you started CCS and were in one of my basic painting classes, you asked me how does one make a living doing this [or similar words to that effect].
I thought at the time, "here is a real eager one!"
Ann, you are answering that question every day. You are making art, communicating about our art world, facilitating connections between artists and collectors.
Ann, you are not only making a living, you making a LIFE.
I agree with Kristin....the best to you.
Bravo.
i found this blog by chance and i am very glad that i did becouse it allows me to see parts of shows that i would normaly not go see for one reason or another. i have been meening to say something like this for sometime to you ann. thank you for your constent dedication and time to this blog.
I have been living in southern California the past five years and loving it, no winters, no gray days, no humidity, ect.
I was active in the Detroit art community for many years before relocating.
It was great to happen upon this blog to see old and new faces.
I will revisit again for sure.
