de kooning's last series

I have finally finished the de Kooning biography and I highly recommend it:  great read!  I think it is important to learn about those that inspire you.  It has felt like I have been in dialogue with de Kooning for the past couple months.  Now I am on to the Rothko biography which has been highly recommended to me by a former art painting teacher and also a random man at border's that started an art conversation.  The book is almost as big as the yellow pages so it will be quite a read!
