I found this work boring. the show seemed like crafty pieces masquerading as being "Meaningful."

I think the sharding effect is quiet interesting.
The sculptures could be the edges of old signs cut and grinded down to there purest forms.

if there was ever such a thing as 'purest forms'?

Very elegant, enigmatic sculptures. I have been following Silvio's work for a while now. Her pieces have excellent craftsmanship, yes, but that is not all....these particular ones for me have a sense of humor.

if these works have a sense of humor that what the hell does boring even mean?

math: the ceilings at columbia made me feel claustrophobic so I did in fact decide to go to cranbrook but i'm not some doe-eyed sycophant: i know the strengths and weaknesses of the school. And I will post your equation on my studio door. twice. and maybe on the visor of my car. and perhaps pass it out on small leaflets.
