RichRichRich....round two

For all of you out there that had a lot to say/criticize about RichRichRich, the new gallery in Shelby Twp...I expect to see all of you at the next show! So...mark your calendars now! and don't forget about CAID's gameshow night and also the second opening at Paul Kotula Projects in Ferndale. June 10th will be a busy night!

i love how you support your own detroit - all you do is bitch about no detroit artists in the mocad thing and are equally assholish when local artists do show up

i follow your rants from time to time and from what i see most of you are a joke - enjoy your seclusion.

dear not a detroiter,

we do support one another! sometimes this blog can be a skewed perspective b/c the blog becomes more of a venting spot than a discussion - (like a shrink to the artists. that is just the integrity of blogs too...words can be easily taken the wrong way. we detroiters also are tough but it is like a parent and child relationship b/c we are all still very proud to be detroiters even if we bitch a little bit! I actually think that within the art community, artists support one another more than the galleries or collectors support the artists here. many artists buy works from other local artists just b/c they want to support them and love detroit arts! motor city art night is a big example of that: artist meet, chat, drink and buy their friends art! !
