mehretu at new DIA

I have forgetting that we have an art museum lately with all the construction and closing plans at the DIA but they finally have their grand opening date set (even if we have to wait till the fall) and also have some new surprises like a "...new commission by contemporary artist Julie Mehretu. Her site-specific work will engage themes related to Diego Rivera’s famous Detroit Industry murals, commissioned by the DIA 75 years ago..." see whole article here.
