Windsor Biennial 2007
The Art Gallery of Windsor invites artists to submit
applications for the 2007 Windsor Biennial. This exhibition
will explore recent developments in contemporary art from
Windsor, Detroit, and the surrounding communities. The
curatorial team, consisting of Jessica Bradley (Toronto),
Theo Sims (Winnipeg), and Aaron Timlin (Detroit), will
develop the exhibition based on the applications submitted.
Selected artists will then be contacted for further consideration.
This exhibition will provide an opportunity for artists, curators,
and the public to identify regional impulses in contemporary
art beyond the geographic and political boundaries that
divide our region. A publication will document the exhibition.
