KCRW: Tim Hawkinson

It is funny how things come together sometimes.  Like yesterday I was talking with another artist who was asking about places to show installation work in Detroit.  (Which if anyone knows a good place let me know because I can only think of Susanne Hilberry or Revolution or maybe MONA...the pickings are slim.  I will rant about opportunities for emerging artist another time!)  Anyways, he brought up Tim Hawkinson, who I had never heard of but he is apparently really big in the scene right now.  He just had a show at the Whitney in NY.  I happily discovered that if you go to art.blogging.la there is a link to a KCRW art talk with the artist that is pretty interesting.
