margulies collection miami
This time in miami I thought the Margulies collection was far better than the Rubell collection. The space is incredible! I think that even mocad could learn a thing or two about showing contemporary art within a raw space. The building was much like mocad but they broke up the space in smart sectioned levels and installation rooms but still kept the loftiness of the main area. Seeing this collection is a must for anyone visiting miami! Go here for more info/history.

I just visited MOCAD for the first time and even after everything I read here and elsewhere I was totally unprepared for just how crude that space is. The art all looks like it was dropped off and waiting to be sent off to a real exhibition space somewhere.
